Terms & conditions
What you agree to when you book. The parts people most often need are deposits and cancellation, waiting time, and cleaning.
Who these apply to
These terms apply to every reservation with Chicago Airport Limo Service, operated by Global Limousine Service Inc., Chicago, Illinois. By booking, you agree to them.
Deposits and cancellation
All deposits are non-refundable.
The required deposit is 30% of the reservation total or $350, whichever is greater, unless otherwise specified in writing.
Sedan and SUV reservations: cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup time will be charged in full.
Sprinter and mini-bus reservations are non-refundable once booked, and full payment is due upon booking unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
Payment
Any remaining balance must be paid to the chauffeur or dispatch before the trip begins, unless different payment terms have been agreed to in writing.
A credit card processing fee of up to 4% may apply to credit card transactions.
Waiting time and overtime
A 15-minute grace period applies after the prearranged pickup time listed on the trip sheet.
After the grace period, waiting and overtime charges apply, billed in 15-minute increments at the applicable hourly rate.
Additional charges may apply when a reservation extends beyond the originally scheduled service time.
Alcohol, drugs and illegal activity
Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited in all of our vehicles.
Alcohol consumption by minors and the use or possession of illegal drugs by any passenger are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of the trip without refund.
Any fines, penalties, citations, damages or other costs resulting from illegal activity or violations by the client or passengers are the sole responsibility of the client.
Smoking and safety
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited in all company vehicles.
Passengers may not stand through sunroofs, windows or any other opening while the vehicle is moving, and must remain seated and follow all applicable safety requirements while it is in motion.
Passenger capacity
Vehicles may not be loaded or occupied beyond their legally permitted seating capacity. We may refuse transportation if the number of passengers exceeds the vehicle’s legal capacity.
The chauffeur’s right to end a trip
The chauffeur may end the trip immediately, without refund, if the client or any passenger behaves in a way that is inappropriate, unsafe, abusive, threatening or destructive. This includes illegal activity, excessive disorderly conduct, intentional damage to the vehicle, or behavior that creates a safety concern for the chauffeur, passengers or the public.
Damage and cleaning
The client is fully financially responsible for any damage to the vehicle caused by the client or any member of their party during the reservation.
A $350 sanitation and cleaning fee applies for accidents, spills, bodily fluids, excessive mess, or anything that needs professional cleaning or specialized treatment of the vehicle. Additional charges may apply for damage that needs repair beyond standard cleaning.
Lost and found
We are not responsible for personal belongings left in a vehicle. Items found by our staff or chauffeur go to our Lost and Found. We will make reasonable efforts to help return recovered items, but we assume no financial responsibility for lost, stolen or misplaced belongings.
Weather and road conditions
We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, service interruptions or termination of service caused by severe weather, unsafe road conditions, accidents, road closures, unplowed or untreated roads, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Passenger and chauffeur safety always comes first.
Hourly (charter) reservations
For an hourly reservation, the same vehicle and chauffeur stay with you for the whole reservation. Personal items, food and non-alcoholic drinks may stay in the vehicle during it, subject to our cleaning and safety policies.
Round trips
A standard round trip is two separate services, a pickup and a drop-off. Please do not leave belongings, food or drinks in the vehicle between them: a different vehicle or chauffeur may be assigned for the return, and we are not responsible for items left in a vehicle during a round trip.
Vehicle assignment
We may substitute a vehicle or chauffeur when necessary because of operational requirements, mechanical issues, safety concerns or circumstances beyond our control. Any replacement will be of a comparable or appropriate class whenever reasonably possible.
