Midway gets busy on summer holiday weekends. For Memorial Day weekend 2026, the city expected about 292,000 passengers through Midway, 3% more than the year before, and the TSA’s advice was the usual one: arrive early (Chicago Sun-Times).
If you drive and park
Midway’s Economy parking costs $4 for the first hour and $15 for up to 24 hours, with free shuttle buses between the lots and the terminal every 10 to 15 minutes (flychicago.com). At that rate a week away is $105 of parking, plus the shuttle ride at each end with your bags.
If someone drops you off
Drop-offs are on the upper level, at the curb in front of any concourse (flychicago.com).
When you land
Everything picks up on the lower level, but in different lanes (flychicago.com):
- Taxis: the inner lane at Door 2, first come, first served.
- Ride apps: the center lane, in lettered zones at Doors 2 to 4.
- Pre-arranged cars, including ours: the center lane at Doors 1 and 2.
What a booked car changes
We track your flight, so an early landing or a delay moves the pickup with it. Your chauffeur meets you in the center lane at Doors 1 and 2, loads the bags and drives you straight home or to your hotel. For a family’s summer luggage, book an SUV; for a group, a Sprinter or mini-bus. You see the price before you book, and nothing is charged until you confirm.
It suits families with a lot of luggage, groups travelling together, and anyone landing after the Orange Line has stopped for the night.
